The TEM high school program is coming in the 2026-2027 academic year and will feature core academic subjects from the Taiwanese Ministry of Education curriculum such as:

1. Chinese Language (國文)

Classical and modern literature
Reading comprehension
Essay writing
Grammar and rhetorical devices

2. English (英文)

Reading, writing, listening, speaking
Grammar and vocabulary
Literature (basic level)
Public exams focus on reading comprehension and grammar

3. Mathematics (數學)

Algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus (by Grade 12)

4. Science (自然科學 / 理化、生物)

Physics (物理)
Chemistry (化學)
Biology (生物)

In senior high, students specialize more deeply depending on the chosen academic stream (e.g., Science or Social Studies).

5. Social Studies (社會科學 / 社會科)

History (歷史)
Geography (地理)
Civics (公民與社會): Focuses on politics, economics, law, and society

Like science, social studies subjects become more in-depth based on students’ specialization track.

6. Physical Education (體育)

Mandatory each year
Emphasis on health, physical fitness, and sportsmanship

7. Arts and Music (藝術與人文)

Basic exposure to visual arts, music appreciation, or performing arts
